Dressing up as a breathalyzer sure seemed like a good idea…
Here on DRAFTMag.com, we never, ever condone drunk driving. Frankly, we don’t even like mentioning it for fear that someone will mistake our light-hearted attitude for approval. Occasionally, however, a story comes across our radar that’s too good to pass up. One of those times is now.
Like many Americans, James P. Miller celebrated Halloween by dressing up. His costume choice: a breathalyzer. Actually, this strikes us as a pretty solid choice. It’s creative, unique, and amusing… right up until he was pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving.
In addition to an open beer in the center console, a half-drunk case in the passenger seat, and more beer in the trunk, Miller inexplicably had multiple Ohio licenses. After the police took him into custody, he blew a 0.158 blood alcohol level.
After booking, Miller was released to his girlfriend. Talk about a walk of shame.
