My boyfriend and I visited here in January 2001. There were 2 guys "working" behind the bar. Actually they were speaking to the one other customer in the place. Someone had some serious body odor...so bad that the whole room smelled! and no, it wasn't us :P We sat at the bar for 15 minutes and no one asked us if we wanted anything. We walked out. Yes the beer is expensive, but its just the kind of beer it is, its expensive anywhere. I had no complaints about the prices. I really wanted to try the apricot. Our experience was less than satisfactory. Probably won't ever bother giving it another shot. P.S. I'm a NJ transplant in Iowa, so its not like I'm Miss Midwest being offended by "rude" NYC service. |
