Weisenbock time agian, One of my favorite styles, St. Nicks weisenbock, is creamy and flavorfull, Like apple cider with a bananna blended in, Its a seasonal thing, wont last long. Have benn going happy hour thursday or friday, Get's crowded had to find parking at 6-7. I've even had to park across gallow rd once, Usually don't eat there. Thier website keeps up with beer changes, seems to be the only brewpub who does it.

Been twice since my last reviews, Still the only place to get 3 kinds of fullers on tap. Have allways looked forward to the Butterscotch flavor of a fresh London Porter on tap, after talking with a Beer geek friend of mine, He says Buttery or Butterscotch flavors are a sign of oxidation. I enjoy it anyway.

List of Draft Beer

Stella Artois (5.2% abv) This highly drinkable, refreshing Beligian beer has universal appeal.

Chimay Triple (8% abv) The Cisterian Trappist Monks have been making beer since 1862, and this golden ambrosia proves that they've got is down. This well balanced beer is top fermented, then refermented in the bottle. The aroma has fruity notes of muscat and raisins, which complement the touch of hoppy bitterness that melts in your mouth. If you still need something to feel good about, the majority of the revenue collected from Chimay's sale is used for charitable purposes.

Allagash White (5.5% ABV) Brewed in Portland, Maine, this beer is crafted in the style of a Belgian "wit" ale. A good percentage of wheat in the mash, and hints of coriander and orange curacao, make this beer exceptionally refreshing and thirst quenching.

Gaffel K├Âlsch

Delirium Tremens (9% abv) Conceived with three different yeasts it presents a beautiful colour, blond and coppery as well as a compact and abundant head. The beer has a nose of wheat and barley with traces of coriander and orange. Full and round in the mouth it is also spicy, with a pleasant bitterness to the taste.

Coniston Bluebird Bitter (3.6% abv) A beautifully balanced, flavoursome beer. Hoppy and rich, yet easy to drink. Lovely peppery hop aroma. Very refreshing with a lingering hop finish.

Only place in dc with 3 kinda of Fullers on tap, I prefer the porter and esb, I went 3 times, porter was allways fresh and served well, The chicken Pot pie had less than a tablespoon of chicken in it.

Great wood fire grill, wood fired salmon was perfect, makes great beer taste even better. Dogfish vodka and rum is served. Went agian monday night, Indian brown ale was back on tap, Midas touch is gone.

No other reviews in a whole year ? This place is in the process of being sold to "Jackies". "Jackies" At georgia at sligo. Which should be listed here. This will bring changes to the menu. Hopefully they will still serve Local Micro brews. I had a "hook and ladder" some kind of dry, hoppy, wheat beer thats supposed to be a fredrick brewing item from a local firemans recipe.

ALl of these reviews are from people who have never reviewed any other Pubs, It really looks someone (one person) is taking survery sheets from cusomers and entering them. This is ballot stuffing. No where is a review of beer selection or the taste of a specific brew.

The Maharaja is Here!!!! The newest beer to the Avery family is now available. The Maharaja - Imperial IPA is royally welcomed to Colorado. Weighing in at a huge 112 ibs's, and 9.7% abv, The Maharaja is a maniacal display of hops and malts. This newest Avery Dictator completes the "Dictator Series" joining the likes of The Kaiser & The Czar. Be aware that the Maharaja is a limited release only available for the summer. Welcome to his kingdom!
