Establishment:
Offshore Ale Company, Oak Bluffs, MA
Only had an hour before catching the ferry back but managed to drink the Amber Ale, Pale Ale, Brown Ale and the Stout. I loved them all. My wife had the Golden, I took a taste of that just to make sure I got a taste of everything. The beer gods were smiling down on us this day. During my second or third beer the Brewmaster came over and cracked a bottle of Offshore Amber Ale and then poured us each a 4 oz taste. He said it was their first contract brew and we were the first to taste it (besides owner and a few employees). It was delicious. Too bad I probably won't get back there for a long time. The peanut shell covered floor was a riot. |

Establishment:
The Tap Brew Pub, Haverhill, MA
I've been there 3 times over the last 2 months. Haven't been disappointed with any meals or beers yet. My last trip on 7/31 was rewarded with my first taste of their Steam beer. I thought it was great. Can't wait to go back. The bartender said they had a Hefe Weizen ready to go, just trying to find tap space for it. |
