Establishment: The Duke of Duckworth, Saint John's, NF

Visited the area in September 2006. Called ahead to check their hours and found out that they only had one of their own beers on tap. Showed up anyway, sat down, and waited for 15 minutes without service. Went to the liquor store and picked up a mixed case of Quidi Viddi's brews instead.

Good Great N/A N/A N/A

Establishment: Pennsylvania Brewing Company aka Penn Brewery, Pittsburgh , PA

I've tagged the selection as "great" because there was probably a good ten varieties available the time I stopped by. I'm crossing the Burgh, going from Church Brew to Penn Brewing to John Harvard's only to find that this brewery does not offer a sampler tray. How can you guys have such a selection and no tray? I can't be drinking a gallon of beer to try everything and then moving on. ANYWAY, try their Penn Dark. It's got a rich flavor to it that I haven't quite found anywhere else.

Great Awesome! N/A Great Awesome!

Establishment: Bushwakker Brewpub, Regina, SK

When driving across the major Canadian artery, several thousand kilometers of Trans Canada 1 from Sault Ste Marie Ontario to Medicine Hat Alberta, one would expect to find a plethora of a plethora of breweries. This is not the case. Pickings are rather slim with the exception of Regina, Saskatoon.

In Regina, I had the time to stop at three places. The second of which, Bushwakker, came recommended by the bartender of the first place I stopped at. It is the only place I found with a sampler tray or variable size. Just pick the number of beers you're interested in, and they fill up a wooden carrier. Me, I had six. The guys behind me had sixteen or so.

If there's one thing I can say about the beers to assist the community, it'd be that their selection is so large, you're going to find something you like.
