This place is a godsend for us out-of-towners who are looking for great food, great beer, and a welcoming staff. Having well-positioned flat screens showing hockey, rugby, and soccer while dining on hearty portions of well-prepared food presented by beer-wise (and attractive) staff made Piper's a welcome surprise during forays to the South Side. I would encourage any traveler searching for a place to whet their whistle in comfort while staying in Pittsburgh to make it a point to visit Piper's Pub. Cheers! |
