A visit to PEI is not complete without a stop at Gahan's. The IPA is the best in the Maritimes although a wee bit on the light side. MORE HOPS!!! Great Food. The PEI mussels and the Malpeque oysters are to die for. A godsend for PEI travelers and locals alike.

Davidson Brothers Restaurant and Brewery, Glens Falls, NY
Although it has been a while since I flew in to Glens Falls, Davidsons has one of the top 5 IPAs in the northeast. It sounds like the place has become much busier. A good thing for a "real" pub. Looking forward to getting back there. |

Seven Barrel Brewery, West Lebanon, NH
N/S on I91 or E/W (more or less) on I89, Seven Barrels is a "must" stop. The IPA is my favorite in all of the Northeast. Great selection of great food. Always a freindly face and good conversation. |

The Liberal Cup, Hallowell, ME
Having known Jeff since his King Eider days, I have been quite impressed with what he has done for Hallowell with the Liberal Cup. Great pub food and a freindly atmosphere. It can get quite crowded at times but thatt's what pubs are all about. Their IPA is one of the very best in New England. |
