Establishment:
C.H. Evans Brewing - The Albany Pump Station, Albany, NY
I live in Daytona but return to hometown Albany about once a year and always try to stop by the Pump Station. Aside from the excellent brews, the historical restoration warms my heart, and the food is always appealing if a bit pricey. Bar staff have always been attentive and cordial. Nice place for lunch if you're doing the historical tour based at the Heritage Center next door. |

Establishment:
Tir na nOg Irish Pub, Daytona Beach, FL
Stopped here on St. Patrick's Day to research a newspaper article on Daytona's Irish-style pubs. This is the closest one that Daytona has. Pleasant atmosphere; nice mix of people, cordial bartenders, not too raucous. Nondescript exterior but attractive interior, a couple of blocks from the beach. Entertainment on weekends. |

Establishment:
Hops Restaurant and Brewery, Daytona Beach, FL
Sadly, this microbrewery restaurant went out of business in early 2005. At first it was to be converted into an Irish pub but now the plan is to remodel it as a bank in 2006. |
