The brewery began brewing only two weeks prior and will be importing the beer (bier) from Munich Germany until the grand opening in late April. At the Grand Opening, they will be serving beer brewed in-house. Exciting!
Despite the last post about the water quality of the Mon River, the river water will be used in the beer because the pH balance is similar to the Isar River in Munich.
I know this because we were told this during employee training. These pH levels and other factors must be approved according to the Reinheitsgebot tradition (The German Food Purity law from 16th century that governs beer, a stature that is adhered to stringently to this day) Of course the water will be purified and the beer will be amazing. It's amazing out of the keg also!
The food is excellent and follows the Bavarian tradition.
Go for the beer and you will not be disappointed with the food.
