King Arthur's Steak House and Brew Pub, Oswego, NY
Andy Gersten formally from the Empire Brewing Company in Syracuse is now brewing at K.A.'s. They cuurenty have have 11 beers on tap that include Wheat, Golden Ale, ESB, Amber Light, Irish Red. Mild English, American IPA, Imperial IPA,"dirt bag" Brown, Scotch, and Oatmeal Stout. There is not a bad beer in the bunch, although I favored the Wheat, Golden Ale, Irish red, IIPA and AIPA. Some where to malty for me. The IPA's were very hoppy and emmm...good. The place is not a traditional pub, but a nice restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. It's not a place to hang out in, but it's nice to stop in for a beer or dinner. They have banquet rooms upstairs as well as suites on the third floor. |

A small pub with average beer. The Hefe is above average. They had no IPA or Pale on Tap, but a variety of others. They also didn't have there X on tap, which they were heavily promoting that they did. They said it was going to be at the Flour City Brew Festival, which it wasn't. When I asked the guy said "I only pour the beer". |

When we stopped by they weren't doing tours. The very busy assitant brewer stopped what he was doing and took us for a tour. He took an hour out of his time to talk with. All the beers were good, but especially the Port Bay Ale? It was a hoppy red ale, left with 2 six packs. |

This place is not to be missed. I make it a point to stop by when I'm in Boston. They have over 100 taps and 450 bottles of beer. The bartenders, although sometimes cocky, know there stuff. |
