Went to Andy's on a whim (not being a fan of the area so much) and was pleasently surprised. Great selection of beer, two hand pumps that I'm told are puting out a different beer about every week... and a rotation of different beers all the time. Friendly staff and patrons. This place is now on my must stop at list when I'm on the smelly side of the state. Do wish they had a few more stouts on the menu... |

I had been going to the Long Valley brew pub for a few years now and found it to be a heaven from the world. I took freinds and relatives there on a regular basis and went out of my way to be in the area for happy hour and such. Apparently they have changed ownership sometime in early 2005 and, it tears at my gut when I say this, the place has gone completely to hell. My favorite award winning Porter is now nothing but glorified dark water... The food is terrible and the service is lousy. I should have known something was up the last time I went there and the place was mostly empty. One of the waiters told me it was bought out by the owner of the local dinner. I hope he sells it again ASAP cause it is now currently worthless... |

I make a point of seeking out a brewpub where ever I travel. I just spent a week in St. Petersberg with my brother and talked him into going. This was hands down, the best brewpub I have ever been to... Almost a dozen beers on tap at once! The food was outstanding - we all raved about it... The service was terrific and the overall atmosphere was great... Tampa Bay Brewing Company is located in the heart of historic Ybor city, the old cigar rolling district. Stop in one of the little shops on the main drag where they hand roll the cigars right in front of you, take it to the brew pub and have one of the finest meals and beers of your life. I will be visiting my brother more often now... Cudo's to all involved in this fine establishment... |

Just got back from dinner. Went there due to the reviews on pubcrawler... The beer list looked like the cheep section in any common liquer store, and they were out of both stouts that they carried... Even though the place was nearly empty except for a small bar crowd, the waitress was very unattentive and slow... The food was quite good - The only saving grace. This place doesn't belong on pubcrawlers listing as a beer bar - Unless you like bud, Michelob, and such |

Krogh's Restaurant and Brew Pub, Sparta, NJ
I am lucky enough to live not too far from Krogh's and always look forward to returning. The beer is a top notch craft brew. Being particularly fond of Oatmeal Stout's (a brew not easily pulled off well) I find theirs to be among the best I have had - A deep and complex flavor with a perfect finish that leaves you waiting for the next sip. Kroghs is full of atmosphere in the old log cabin on lake Mohawk and the staff (I think it is a family run business) are always attentive and friendly. Can't wait for my next trip back... |
