Establishment:
Joshua Huddy's Brewpub, Toms River, NJ
There is a sign on the side of the building that points to the "Brew Pub" enterance. But, after about 10 seconds at the bar it becomes clear that the sign is a lie. They stopped brewing their own beer several years ago and now run of the mill beer. The service wasn't great and overall it's a depressing place not worth visiting. |

Establishment:
Upland Brewing Company, Bloomington, IN
One of the few things I miss about Indiana is being able to purchase UpLand's beer. It, along with Oaken Barrel, is among Indiana's finest bottled beer. |

Establishment:
Rock Bottom Brewery, Indianapolis, IN
With lackluster beer, poor bartenders and food that rivals the quality of White Castle, this corporate-owned brewpub in downtown Indianapolis is a place that should be avoided. But with that said, it is still better than the other two breweries in town, the RAM and Alcatraz. For a decent pint and atmosphere travel 20 minutes north to the Broad Ripple Brewpub or down to the Oaken Barrel in Greenwood. |

Establishment:
Old Bay Restaurant, New Brunswick, NJ
With a tremendous beer selection that offers a full gamut of styles, the Old Bay is one of New Brunswick’s best bars. To make things even better the food is tasty and reasonably priced. Like most places in New Brunswick, the joint can get packed on the weekend making it difficult to get to the bar for a fresh pint. |

Establishment:
Triumph Brewing Company, Princeton, NJ
Triumph has an excellent American Style Pale Ale on tap these days. The Seven Swans, named for a play currently showing at a local theater, is comparable to Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale and has a great hop content and just the slightest spice flavor. |
