I am a homebrewer and beer lover of many years. This was a real find. I've never had a cask-conditioned ale and the taste and mouthfeel were amazing. The on-tap selection was focused (meaning not huge, but reflective of their mission). I've never had Brittish ales done better. Really nice atmosphere and a fun place to hang. They had a great selection of bottled beers, as well. They had a mead and a Heather herbed-ale, among their selections. I don't recall anything Belgian or German in their selection. Food couldabeen better, but I was there for the beer. |
