Terrific brewpub. They do a wonderful job when it comes to brewing ales. Was a little disapointed with the quality of their Oktoberfest. The brewery isnt really set up to do lagers (open fermentation). But overall I was very impressed. The place is more like an amusement park than a brewpub and is definately on my list of places to go when in Denver. Unbelievable selection of styles. St. Charles was my favorite. And if you eat there you must try the Elk Medallions. I wish we had more brewpubs like this! |

Very good beers. Exceptional Hefeweizen with terrific flavor. Nice Barley Wine needed just a little more conditioning.Good ESB and Stout. The Amber Ale was heavy with diacetyl (butterscotch) and was the only beer that was not impressive. Beautiful NSI brewhouse makes some really nice beers. If you can find it open (usually closed unless its baseball season) I definately recomend giving it a try. Hefeweizen is one of the best and won a bronze medal at the GABF. |
