Establishment: Corolla Brewpub was Weeping Radish, Corolla, NC

Have been going to the Weeping Radish on every vacation visit. The Black Raddish is the best of the bunch. The Corolla Gold is good too. The food is usually very good, especially the Rueben and Pototo Pancakes. The prices are just right, though I do agree with a previous reviewer, why do they close at 9 PM?

Establishment: Outer Banks Brewing Station, Kill Devil Hills, NC

They had 4 different beers on tap that night and not one stout or porter. The IPA boasted as being very hoppy. It was terribly flat. The Kolsch was OK. The best tasting was the dark german wheat beer with a slice of lemon, very good. I agree with a previous reviewer, Budwiser on the menu? Is this not a brewpub?

Establishment: Red Star Brewery and Grille, Greensburg, PA

I don't come here for the food, but the Beer is excellent. The best Pale Ale I ever tasted is Sierra Nevada, made in Chico, CA. Red Star comes close with American Pale Ale. It has a nice hoppy flavor from start to finish. The Iron Horse Stout is also excellent. Smokey, Dark and a little bit coffee flavored. This beer is some of the best brewed in Western Pa.

Establishment: Latrobe Brewing Company, Latrobe, PA

Having grown up on RR, I may have a little more insight then most people. This used to be an excellent, quality pale beer. Once Labatts bought the brewery, they turned it into a generic, marketable and just plain terrible tasting beer(Skunk Smell & Taste). Sort of what most Canadian beers taste like.
