So So Good Great Great Good

Establishment: Oak Creek Brewery And Grill, Sedona, AZ

We ate here a couple of times during our visit. I had the seven dwarves the first time which is a taste of 7 pours. The micro light should be avoided at all costs. The nut brown was the best of the lot. DOC's Ipa had a nice hoppy start but seemed to finish short. The hefeweizen was notable for a hoppier taste than normal, which I liked. Subsequent visits confirmed these views. The food was very good and the wait staff proficient. Prices are above average, but hey it's Sedona and the only choice around, especially when the weather is hot.

Great Good So So Good Good

Establishment: Klamath Basin Brewing Company @ Creamery Brewpub, Klamath Falls, OR

This brewpub is located in an old creamery and is quite interesting. The Pelican Butte pale ale is a bit unusual but intrigueing. I would stay away from the more elaborate food offerings and stick to the standard pub fare.

Good Good Awesome! Great Great

Establishment: Eel River Brewing Company, Fortuna, CA

This establishment is near the freeway, near the motel row on the edge of town. I ate here twice in late '07 (sorry I couldn't comment earlier but I just found the site). I don't remember the beer I had but it was probably pale ale or IPA. I do remember the tri-tip sandwich as it is made with their home grown beef and a local cheese, and is to die for. An extra plus is it is a full meal. The place seems to be inhabited by a local crowd, but that's a plus. Whenever I'm near I'll make an effort to stop in.
