Establishment:
O'Callagh was Original Saratoga Springs Brewery, Saratoga Springs, NY
only 6 or 7 beer choices, nothing out of the ordinary. The porter was fine, nothing special. It is only a few minutes off 87, but probably not worth the detour unless you are really thirsty. |

Ginger Man, New York, NY
more taps than any place in New York City, what else needs to be said? It can get very crowded, so it is better to go in off-hours. It very much has the British pub, wood-panel atmosphere. |

Establishment:
Standings was Brewsky's, New York, NY
BREWSKY'S HAS GONE IRISH!!! (The guy who used to be behind the bar was Ukranian). Their 12 or so taps are now all Irish (boring). They still seem to have a huge selection of bottled beers, but it is difficult to tell from the way the beer menu is set up. |

about 10 choices, but, unfortunately, the quality was not very impressive. I tried the porter and then a taster set of 5 and none of them were distincive. |

Establishment:
Heartland Brewery at Union Square, New York, NY
The saga of mediocre brewing in Manhattan continues: Heartland downtown's newest offerings are a totally non-descript Apricot ale and a Steam beer that was close to undrinkable because of some off taste. |

Establishment:
Waterfront Ale House, New York, NY
I don't remember exactly how many taps they have, at least 12, but they have Old Foghorn--which shows this place has some class. |

Establishment:
Southport Brewing Company, Southport, CT
As noted in other reviews, the number of beers available is impressive: around 12. However, none of them were dark or heavy, and the quality was nothing special. |

4 beer selections available. Hefeweisen was a little off-tasting. |
