Establishment:
Gluek Brewing Company, Cold Spring, MN
Very friendly people. I was passing through town, called them, and got a personal tour of the brewery with the master brewer. This older regional brewery has character which makes the tour interesting. They do a lot of contract brewing. Gluek is their primary brand but they still own the Cold Spring beers. |

This brewpub is in a restored 1890's hotel which had its heydays during the Gold Rush Days. Four very good beers available: Spruce Tip Ale, Red Star Amber, Klondike Gold, and Blue Tip Porter. Great to find good beer in such a tourist town. |

Homer Brewing Company, Homer, AK
Six beers available when I visited. Old Inlet Pale Ale, Broken Birch Bitter, and China Point Porter were very good and worth taking home in a growler and enjoying them after spending all day halibut fishing. Better yet, take the growler on the boat and enjoy the fishing more. The Red Knot Scottish Ale, Odyssey Oatmeal Stout and Summer Saddie Rye Ale were also true to their styles. Great beer in a great and beautiful spot on this Earth! |

Armadillo Tex Mex Cafe and Brewery, Juneau, AK
This is a Tex Mex Restaurant which installed a very small brewing system in the back of the kitchen. They only have one beer available at any one time. At the time of my visit, they had a great British Brown Ale. Since it's right across the street from the cruise ships, service could be slow at times. |

Establishment:
Great Bear Brewing Company, Wasilla, AK
This brewpub just opened up this summer. They are located in a small shopping plaza just off the Parks Highway (Route 3). They had five beers at the time of my visit: Skwentna Stout, Blackberry, Archangel Amber, Hatcher Pass Ale, and Gold. All had excellent qualities which was surprizing for a new establishment. Food and service were also great. Worth the short drive from Anchorage. |

Some really great beers available this year - IPA, Golden, Rye, and Scottish styles made the trip to Alaska worthwhile. Seven beers all together and the others (maibock, brown and porter) were true to their styles. |

If you want good beer, avoid this place like the plague! The three beers available at the time (pale ale, wheat, and raspberry) all tasted the smae and weren't fit to drink. The brewer should be arrested for allowing such beer to be served! At least the food was good. |

This place now has a pub attached to it. Their Pale Ale was very good and their Smoked Mountain Lager was nothing to sneeze at. I think this is the northernmost brewpub in North America! |

These folks make some really great beer. Barb is an excellent host to all the visitors to their Tap Room. Their Mammoth Stout, Kodiak Brown, and Wolf Spirit Ale were awesome! They give you a taste of everything they have at the time and you can take home what you like best! |

Most popular restaurant/brewpub in Anchorage. If you didn't make a reservatiion by noon, don't expect to eat befor 930pm. Seemed the locals liked it as much as the tourists. Had a good selection of beers and the IPA was outstanding. Food was very good and service was outstanding. |

Denali BC is really Moose's Tooth BC which makes the beer for Moose's Tooth Pub at 3300 Old Seward Highway. The brewery is located at 2021 Spar Ave in Anchorage. They have an excellent selection of beers and had 10 different beer styles available in July when I visited the Pub and the Brewery. All were very good! |

Borealis Brewery, Anchorage, AK
This is a micro located about 4 blocks north of the main downtown shopping area (across the tracks). Their address is 349 East Ship Creek Ave. They have a Tap Room and had four beers available: Nut Brown Ale, Classic Pilsner, Chilkoot Charlie's Sourdough Ale and a Barley Wine. The Barley Wine was very good and wasn't sweet or syrupy as some of these tend to get. The other beers were also good and very true to their styles. |

Patrick McGovern's Pub and Restaurant, Saint Paul, MN
This is not a brewpub since they don't brew their own beer at the restaurant. There's a Brew-On-Premise across the street (Vine Park BOP) which provides them some beers but they don't have any brewing equipment in the restaurant itself. |

Great beer! I hope I wasn't biased by having been to the other Gettysburg Brewpub first. The porter was especially great. Great pizza too. |

They had six beers on tap and all had an unfinished, sour taste. Fortunate that I ordered samplers or I'd leave most of the beer untouched. As it was barely two were drinkable. Sausage platter was OK. |

Tucson's Bar and Grill, Clearwater, FL
Tucson's is no longer a brewpub. I visited them on 12/8/98 and they have taken out all their brewing equipment to make more room for the restaurant. In fact, I couldn't find any beer taps at their two bars. All they have is bottled beer. |

I was surprised to find such great beer in this neck of the woods. It's just down the street from the Ferry Terminal, great view of the harbor, and great food in addition to the great beer. Recommend highly. |

Four of their own beers available when I was there this week: Goat Island Light Ale, Export Ale, Old Thumper Extra Special Ale, and Bluefin Stout. Liked the Stout the best. If you don't know what you want, try their Sampler Set - 6oz of each beer. Definitely helps pass the time while waiting for a flight. |

Mill Bakery, Eatery and Brewery, Orlando, FL
New Brewpub near Central Florida Univ. Same restaurant company as the one in Winter Park and were getting their beer from Beach Brewing but Beach closed and they installed a 3bbl system which sits at the back of the bar. Had only one beer of their own available, Cranberry Cream Ale. Very little Cranberry taste or flavor, mostly basic beer. Mill has a good menu and the place was busy during lunch the day I was there. |
