Old barn converted into a brewery. What a great place. The silo has a handle on it so it looks like a giant beer mug and you can go to the top of it! Three beer on tap and they were all great. Lots of breweriana on display. Brian and Minnie are great folks, be sure to put them on your next brewery tour.
Great brews and a great visit. The attached pub is now closed but is being replaced by a brew pub. Construction is coming along slowly as work is being done mostly by the owner and brewer.
The Owner who we spoke with at his Kearny Brew Pub said they brew lager here and the rest in Kearny. Staff Here told us the same. Brewing equipment is on site. I tried most of their beers and found them all awesome.
Some brewing equipment was on site but none of it was plumbed in. IF brewing is done there I suspect it is strickly extract. We had a vanilla cream ale that would of been a good vanilla soda and a nonadventurous wheat beer.
This is a take-out pizza and growlers only place. Two beers were available and they were both good. It was closed when we arrived in the afternoon but the brewer/owner was there and welcomed us in and shared some of his beer with us. It is on tap in bars in Victor. Call for hours.
Everything from beer, food and service was awesome. But - This is not a brewpub. No beer is brewed on site per the bartender. It is all brewed, off site, at a brewery in the Ship Creek area.
Tap room at the brewery offers samples and growlers. Tried them all and ended up with a few growlers over 4 days. Also on tap at some of the local pubs. Well worth going out of the way for.
The tap room is open Wed, Thur, Fri late afternoons. You would be wise to call first for hours. Chip is a great brewer and it is well worth the trip. We ordered pizza to be delivered and had a great time.
