Business center location just off the expressway. Visited 11/14/04 and enjoyed it. The brewing system looks like a hodge podge of BOP and other components put together. Had a 5 beer sampler which ran the gambit from wheat to stout, all were clean and drinkable, some very good. The food was good, reasonably priced and fast, really fast. Lots of hot sauces along the walls, beware, some are too hot !
Second visit 11/13/04, still did not try the food but it looked good. Saturday night at the mall was busy and the bar was a perfect spot to get out of the big crowds. Had a pint of Venom and really enjoyed it, could have stayed for more but...Will definately stop again anytime in the area and do the sampler platter of beer and maybe even some food.
Last visited 11/14/04. What a great location. Was there late on a Sunday night and the place was empty. Only had the stout because they were closing up. The beer was very good as was the service, I just spent too much time elsewhere!!!
Located in a pole barn style building at the front of an industrial park just off of US route 2.
What a great place. Visited 7/31/04. 5 beers on tap, pilsener, porter and cream ale were great. The dark Czech pilsner was good and the Alt Fest was one of the most unique beers I have ever had. tasting room/pub is right in front of the brewery and an observation window is there. Food is limited at this point but pulled smoked pork sandwich was different but very good.
Big beautiful old hotel. 6 beers on tap on 7/31/2004 visit. All the beers were very drinkable, the Cleary Red and the Schwarz were very good. Service was very good.
Good things to say, beautiful building and location, nice gift shop. 3 beers available a pilsener, a pale ale, and a stout. None of the three were great but they all were drinkable.
Visited 8/1/04 9 beers available all well made although some are quite uneventful. Food was good at lunch time and service was not bad. It is the only show for decent beer in the area.
Wow, what a change from the tap room they had on Fairbanks. This is one happening place with 12 + different drafts. I wish I had more time to do the sampler platter.
Formerly the Port Washington Brewing Company now dedicating a couple taps to the Harbor City Brewing Company up the road. Numerous bars and dining rooms in this place ranging from typical bar room to upscale dining.
A little of the main drag but what an impressive place. Gift store and beer to go. tours on selected days. The beer is great. 3 seasonals available on 6/24 visit were maibock, IPA, and Abbey triple
Old historic tavern across the street from Shipwrecked brew pub. 13 taps with a few domestic swill. 100 + bottles. Nice atmosphere good food and service.
What agreat big historical train station. Sampler platter had 6 offerings and all were great or awesome. Nice outdoor beer garden next to the tracks and the river. Get there !
This is definitely an upscale place. Sampler consisted of 5 beers, all relatively light and somewhat grassy. Located down the street from an A-B malt house which is a cool towering facility. Neat breweriana inside.
Not brewing their own as of 6/24. 14 taps pouring world class beers can't be topped except by the riverside location and the old mill the brewery is housed in. 2$ pints during happy hour 5-7PM and 5$ pints and you keep the glass. Nice town, a bit trendy for my taste but nice. Winery also located 3 blocks away.
Nice outdoor patio, sampler platter consisted of 6 beers. Yes they were served in plastic cups. The location and the history, true or not, make this a must stop.
Visited on 6/25. Sampler consisted of 10 beers and their root beer. Love the old style tavern with a 3 barrel system retrofitted into it. Beers were good, tough to differentiate between some of the styles but all were very drinkable. Pint glasses for 2$ empty and pickled eggs on the back bar
Ate lunch at this location. 6 beer sampler all clean and good beers, lunch was good and service was great. Some of the best extract brewed beers I have tasted.
Extract system but some of the best extract beers I have ever had. 6 beers on the sampler platter, all very clean and tasty. Food and service were great.
An upscale micro accross the road from Titletown. The interior was beautiful and the lounge had a nice bar set up there. The only problem is that they don't start serving until 4 PM but feature a happy Hour from 4-7
Nice place to eat, visited 6/24. No porter or stout on tap but had a golden pride which was not available at Appleton location. Beer was very nice. Riverfront location with outdoor seating a plus.
Clean busy mall location and loud. No stout or porter but 7 other styles. Beer was clean and well made, which is a bonus, nothing exceptional but some nice deals on breweriana and apparel.
A regular stop in Bay City. 4 Dragonmead micros on tap and some fresh German imports. Atmosphere is great with 100,s of German steins lining the ceiling. Only drawback is the $ per pint factor but still worth a visit.
An ols haunt from the days at Ferris State University. A couple of interesting taps, Leinies Red the best. Not bad for that college town. Try the burgers
Awesome tasting room, great selection of great beers. Now serving limited menu for food and the sandwiches are excellent. This is a must for any beer drinker.
This place is improving and worth a visit. The beers are all drinkable and there is a good variety, service is getting better but I don't think it could have gotten worse. Pricey but if you catch Happy Hour, it is not so bad.
