First visit here, what a pleasant suprise. Just 2 bldgs.up from the Alchemist. We only stopped because no one was open on Easter. What a find. 30 beers on tap from all over the world, great wings (22 sauces) and awesome burgers. The waitress was prompt and willing to do anything to make our visit enjoyable. Keep up the great work!
We had a nice time here. The beers were all clean and tasty, the food was also very good. There was a really nice woman in the resturant( me thinks she is the manager). She told us all kinds of great tales. Liker the others said, if your going through Artesia, The Wellhead is a must.
Turtle Mountain is the defenition of the "Brewpub". We spent the last day of our vacation with the owners and staff of this fine establishment. We had never been there before but by the way we were treated you'd think we went there everyday. We had a pizza & calzone (quality ingredients and lots of them). We had Steam,Uber Steam,C3 PA (a very drinkable IPA), and the Imperial Stout. This place gets it! They love what they do and it shows. Keep it up.
IT'S BACK. Sterk Wit has returned, it was cask conditioned this past weekend. There was a great new offering I believe it was Thacther Brook Blonde (don't let the word blonde mislead you)nice and crisp with subtle flavors. We had a BBQ chicken pizza with fresh cilantro, very tasty. This place just seems to do everything right. Keep it up.
Everything the previous reveiwers said was right on. The only difference was the beer selections, there are more summer offerings, all excellent. I particularly liked the Sterk Wit due to it's complexity. I'll be adding this to the regular rotation.
Beer was pretty run of the mill, food was creative and tasty. We sat on the patio, there were ants on the table and we had to ask for clean silver since the first ones we were given were nasty. Its too big of a place to control the quality and the service.
Stopped for a mid week lunch, salads were generous and tasty. The Islandwiezen was very good, also had a red with a nice flavor. The brewing facility was spotless and the brewmaster was very pleasant. I would recomnd to anyone.
